What we collect
Anonymous usage counts, to see which features are used: an event name (for example “a groove was played”), the kind of page, its language, a short detail such as a song name, and the country derived by our host from the request. No cookies, no IP address, no device or browser identifier and no user ID are stored, so these counts cannot be linked to you or to each other. They are kept in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine.
What stays on your device
- Settings such as your kit colours, lighting, language, practice options and VR pedal buttons are saved in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device.
- Recordings of your takes are made and played back on your device. They are only saved or shared when you choose to download or share a file.
- Microphone: used only by the optional latency test, which listens for the app’s own clicks to measure the delay of your speakers. The sound is analysed on your device and is not recorded or sent anywhere.
- MIDI devices and VR controllers are read on your device to play the drums.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes network data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the service; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share personal data, show ads, use advertising or tracking SDKs, or build profiles. Drums3D is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your choices and contact
Clearing your browser data, or uninstalling an app, removes everything stored on your device. Questions or requests: hello@drums3d.com.
